Created in 1975, the event presents around a hundred American films over ten days and welcomes actors and directors to the Normandy seaside resort. The 2023 edition will take place from 1 to 10 September. As every year, Deauville will go American between the screenings, the red carpet and the famous tables overlooking the sea...

An unmissable event at the start of the film season, the Deauville American Film Festival, with more than 100 films, has been showcasing features, shorts and independent cinema for almost 50 years.

The jury for the 2023 edition is chaired by Guillaume Canet, who, together with the members of his jury, will have to choose between the 14 films in competition, the full list of which can be found by clicking here.

The Deauville American Film Festival is open to everyone, cinema professionals and enthusiasts alike. A total of 80 films in 8 categories will be presented to the public in three venues: the Centre International de Deauville, the Casino Lucien Barrière de Deauville and the Cinéma le Morny.

Since 1975, this unmissable film festival has hosted the biggest American stars, such as George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Jessica Chastain, as well as the rising stars of the "new Hollywood", from Shailene Woodley to Elle Fanning, not forgetting international stars who have come to present an American film, such as Nicole Kidman or Sean Connery...
