This remarkable renaissance has made the Saint-Dié of today a town with a rich heritage and an intense cultural life. The cathedral of Saint-Dié
This cathedral stems from a Benedictine monastery established in the 7th century. At first glance it is impossible to see this, but the ensemble of vaults and eastern sections were destroyed in 1944 and have since been faithfully rebuilt.
