The Hotel de Crillon - or the art of feeling Parisian

Freshly renovated and recently awarded the distinction of “Palace” hotel, this icon of French neo-classicism epitomises timeless chic, reinventing a fresh Parisian spirit set between the 18th century and contemporary avant-garde.

The art of detail

It is often the small details that make a big difference. Art books and carefully selected ornaments: in the 78 Deluxe rooms, the intimate decor perfectly captures the essence of Parisian style. Originally a mansion house, the Hotel de Crillon preserves the connection with its origins as a private residence, commissioned by King Louis XV.

Chez Marie-Antoinette

The ten Signature Suites embody the new spirit of this historic Palace: contemporary elegance is fused with French classicism. For instance, in the suite Marie-Antoinette the elegant decor in pearl grey and powder pink recalls the 18th century vogue for these graceful colours.

A room with a view

The Bernstein suite on the sixth floor is named in tribute to the legendary composer, a former frequent guest. It boasts a private terrace of 238m² with a stunning view over the Place de la Concorde and the Eiffel Tower. It’s impossible not to feel Parisian (or Parisienne) with this breath-taking panorama.

Nestled in the attic, three rooms have been designed as an invitation to experience the bohemian world of Paris artists. An homage to writers, artists and painters who have been inspired by the city of lights, the rooms are aesthetical and luxurious.

L’Ecrin restaurant – gourmet and bijou

The gourmet restaurant L’Ecrin is a well-kept secret in the heart of the hotel. It’s deliberately designed to be intimate; just 24 guests embark each evening on a unique culinary journey. At the helm is chef Christopher Hache. He is attentive to every detail - from the table setting to the plate - and blends world flavours with French savoir-faire in perfect harmony.

Divine bath

It’s not hard to imagine joyous mermaids indulging themselves in the sublime pool. This aquatic salon is a mosaic marvel where 17,600 golden scales shimmer. All around, elegant divans entice you to relax after your swim.

Clever mixtures

A place where gilded walls and frescoes combine with live DJ sessions… Timelessly chic, the bar Les Ambassadeurs cleverly blends the eras as well as dynamic cocktails. A pinch of the past and the Duc de Crillon, a drop of avant-garde and a dash of contemporary spirit.

Soft alcoves

With its secret alcoves and its delicate colours, the Jardin d’Hiver (winter garden) offers an epicurean experience. As enchanting as the decor, the desserts created by the pastry chef will delight those with a sweet tooth. Gourmet coffee varieties, eclectic tea blends and champagne are on the menu.
