Buy a few treats from one of Le Touquet’s 136 boutiques and sip a café crème on the harbour front. If you wander through the market you can take in a whole host of local produce, from jars of honey to the famous Ratte du Touquet potato. There’s a wide choice of restaurants in Le Touquet – most overlooking the sea – and the resort buzzes with life after dark with bars, clubs and casinos available to entertain you till the early hours. There are regular art and music festivals in Le Touquet as well as international sporting events, shows, concerts and exhibitions. Every summer the resort organises a host of free shows as part of its children’s festival; young visitors are entertained by a succession of storytellers, magicians, puppeteers, stilt-walkers and jugglers as part of these performances and interactive events.
