The next edition of Nuit Blanche will take place in early June in Paris and its region, specifically on the night of Saturday, June 7th to Sunday, June 8th, 2025. A night of cultural experiences all over the capital with artistic installations and events offered in museums, cultural venues, and public spaces.
Since 2002, Paris has upheld its tradition of celebrating contemporary art for one unforgettable night, as artworks take over the city during Nuit Blanche. From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., nearly a million visitors - Parisians, people from the surrounding region, and tourists alike - fill the streets of the capital and nearby towns to explore installations displayed in the open air. With floating artworks on the Seine, lyrical performances, burlesque shows, and video projections, Nuit Blanche offers a unique cultural journey through Paris.
At the heart of the 2024 edition
In 2024, the event extended beyond Paris and the wider metropolis to include overseas territories, from French Polynesia to New Caledonia, via Réunion and the Caribbean. This 23rd edition, themed around sport and Olympism, took place on the eve of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Contemporary artists from around the world were given carte blanche to “tell the story of a diverse France,” spread across four continents and enriched by remarkable cultural variety.
This edition also marked the beginning of the celebrations for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, featuring a program of collective and individual performances that highlighted the event’s athletic dimension.
