We live surrounded by the extraordinary. In the city, we miss out on all the little things that make nature so essential to life. Many of us now share the goal of rediscovering our senses and blending in with our surroundings to recharge our batteries. The landscapes in the mountains are extremely varied, with lakes and hills, slopes and peaks, and natural hot springs, particularly in the Pyrenees and the Parc des Ballons des Vosges, and each area has its own unique character, providing an opportunity for discovery and immersion. At Orcières (Alpes du Sud), for example, zen walks combine the benefits of forests and streams. For a pure moment of disconnection, walkers are led into the undergrowth, where participants are invited to get back in touch with themselves through various experiments and relaxation workshops, to unplug from everyday life and feel the elements that surround us! Rendezvous at the luxurious Solaise refuge in Val d'Isère! In 1939, Val d'Isère began building its 1st cable car to access the sunny Solaise massif. After 74 years in operation, the upper station of the cable car stopped receiving skiers in 2016. Jean Charles Covarel breathed new life into this period landmark and built the Refuge de Solaise. The cable car station became a unique place to live. Culminating at an altitude of 2,551m, the Refuge de Solaise is the highest hotel in France. It combines accommodation, catering, spa and seminar facilities with a single watchword: exceptional. An ambition worthy of its location, the Refuge overlooks the valley and the village of Val d'Isère, while offering breathtaking views. Val d'Isère Refuge
