The vessel coming into Brest is greeted by the sight of one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The city with its evocative street names – Siam, Bougainville, La Fayette, Segalen, is also a place where the traveler can unwind in a variety of ways: shopping, restaurants, museums and galleries, theatre, cinema, bars and pubs with a truly Celtic atmosphere.

In December 2017, Brest has received from the French government the label "Art and Historic city”.

Between land and sea, the city and its surroundings are a place where people are welcoming and nature is of stunning beauty. Long sandy beaches, hidden shingle beaches, cliffs and rias... Our coastal paths will take you through nature’s countless wonders. As for the hinterland, it is sprinkled with chapels, castles, legends and other marvels. This is a land of countless pleasures, simple and genuine.

Located at the edge of Europe, Brest is the deepest port of the western part of France. It has no restriction and can welcome any kind of cruise vessel.

The port of Brest is the gateway to discover Pont-Aven well known for Gauguin, Quimper and its cobble streets and its major cathedral, the medieval city of Locronan and the Breton fjords “Les Abers”.
