Until 21 June 2026

What if Alice left Wonderland and popped into the museum? With “Aliçe and the Funny Birds”, visual artist Bernard Briançon revisits Lewis Carroll’s world and brings it into dialogue with the Museum’s collections. Rabbits, flamingos, hedgehogs… the iconic animals of “Alice in Wonderland” take their place at the heart of a dreamlike Noah’s Ark that the artist invites visitors to explore. Blending fantasy and education, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the passage of time, on nature as imagined and fantasised, and on the boundaries between the absurd and the real. A poetic journey suitable for the whole family, offering a chance to rediscover the Museum’s collections through the prism of Alice’s world.

Until 30 June 2026

The Crow and the Fox, The Wolf and the Lamb, The Lion and the Rat… Jean de La Fontaine’s fables, a masterpiece of French literature well known to French schoolchildren, are brought to life in Paris at the Galerie Washington, just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées. Amidst striking sets, 360° and 3D projections, children are transported to the Grand Siècle of Louis XIV, whilst reimagined characters and modernised dialogue blend humour and poetry to bring out the irony of the texts. A playful experience where technology and contemporary music interact with classical poetry.

Until July 12, 2026

In the 21st century, gardening is no longer just about planting flowers; it's about understanding soil biodiversity, taming “weeds” and other species, and exploring the impact of climate on our green spaces. In six sensory and interactive worlds, children discover the science behind gardening, take part in fun experiments, and contribute to “La fresque des jardiniers” (The Gardeners' Mural), a collective digital artwork. At the crossroads of art and science, this exhibition invites visitors to reconnect with nature.

‘Borders’ at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris

From 14 April 2026 to 2 January 2028

We exchange voice messages with Tokyo, play online games with Montreal, watch videos from Seoul… In the digital age, borders seem to have disappeared. Yet the exhibition ‘Frontières’ reminds us that they remain very much present: at the bottom of the oceans, in the middle of the forest, on a road or in the desert. From Mexico to French Guiana, from South Korea to Georgia, from Cameroon to Algeria, the Cité des Sciences offers a journey like no other, featuring field studies, photographs and personal accounts, to discover how these boundaries shape territories, exchanges and the destinies of populations. A fascinating tour of the world for teenagers (and parents) curious about geography, current affairs and the world around us.
