Get fresh air at the garden
With dozens of sculptures and century-old trees, the Luxembourg garden (or the "Luco" as Parisians call it) offers 25 hectares (60 acres) of green with wonderful flowerbeds, lawns to frolic in, beehives, playgrounds, tennis courts, and a central basin where kids can sail their wooden sailboats.
Stylish pizza
In the rue de l'Ancienne Comédie, near the Odéon, let's go to Margherita, a convivial trattoria that will please everyone from toddlers to parents. The best Italian products are served in the form of a tempting range of pizzas made in a industrial-style building on several floors. The top one, called the "Kids' Kingdom", full of games and toys, well deserves its name!
Initiation to contemporary art
At the heart of a lush garden and in a splendid transparent building, the Cartier Fondation for contemporary art hosts exhibitions with activities and workshops for kids. They also offer tours guided by a mediator to share contemporary art with the whole family, which explore the always-creative exhibtions.
Playful and stylish shopping en famille
The "Bon Marché", the epitome of "Rive Gauche" elegance, has something for everyone: luxury, fashion, décor, books, beauty, gastronomy... the third floor is entirely dedicated to kids, in order to refresh their wardrobes, revitalize their bedrooms, or find toys for all ages. Under renovation, the place will reopen in November 2018.
A kid-friendly hotel
In a side-alley of the Saint-Germain boulevard, the Madison Hôtel is a stylish address with an art deco look. Recently renovated, its 50 rooms combine soft colors with simplicity. You will feel immediately comfortable in this hotel where kids are not only welcome, but special guests. A member of “The Little Guest Hotels Collection“, the Madison does everything possible to facilitate family journeys.
The hotel has 7 communicating rooms, truly little private apartments, and offers a range of services for families with children: bottle-heaters, baby beds, pushchairs, slippers, robes, and even rubber nipples! Special mention goes to the laundry corner dedicated espeically to parents—they don't need to go to the dry cleaner anymore.
