Over the last few years rooftop venues have been popping up all over the capital. They make for a brilliant place to enjoy the great outdoors with views that seriously impress. We take a look at some of the best rooftop hotspots in Paris (External link) :
Perch at Le Perchoir
Much loved by Parisians, Le Perchoir bar on the roof of BHV Marais (External link) offers fabulous views over the capital’s iconic monuments. Equally popular is Le Perchoir bar in the Menilmontant district (External link) in the 11th Arr. With 360 degree 7th floor views over the city it’s a 7th Heaven hotspot.
Sip on the Seine
Up on the roof of the Cité de la Mode and Design, Nüba (External link) hosts a bar, restaurant, night time food truck and open-air club. With panoramic views from its quayside position it has a relaxed and welcoming vibe.
Music & Chill
Le Point Éphémère (External link) is very trendy and very popular with the arty set. The rooftop bar in its Canal Saint-Martin setting is enchanting and has a festive feel with comfy deck chairs. Music ranges from house to hip hop and techno. We recommend you book in advance for this one.
High in the sky
For a feeling of the country in the city, Auteuil Brasserie’s rooftop cocktail bar (External link) is vibrant with pot plants and feels like a rather exotic tree house. Located in a former railway station on an abandoned railway track, from April to September, there’s a monthly barbecue party.
