Cauterets, skiing at the heart of The Pyrenees National Park
Cauterets is a small mountain village in the Pyrenees National Park. There are 2 skiing areas where you can practice alpine skiing in the Cirque de Lys (21 pistes and 3 Freestyle zones), as well as Nordic winter activities at the Pont d'Espagne (cross country skiing, snowshoeing, toboganning).
Situated 12 minutes from Cauterets by Lys cable cars, the Cirque du Lys resort has great natural snow conditions. It was recognised as the snowiest resort in the world in February 2013.
The Pont d'Espagne, another resort near Cauterets is a perfect place to practice alpine skiing, cross country skiing, hiking and toboganning with your family.
