Normandy: the Cerza Zoological Park

In the heart of Normandy, embark on a journey to discover more than 1,500 wild animals from all four corners of the planet at the magnificent Cerza Park Zoo. A tour of the animal kingdom for all ages!

In the Calvados, between forests and valleys, 250 species from five different continents live in relative freedom. A top destination for anyone who loves walking - many different pedestrian circuits are available through the park's wild fields.

Brown Bears, Wolves, American Bisons, and More

Two major pedestrian tours stand out: the Yellow Itinerary (90 miutes) takes you through all geographies of the animal kingdom. Brown bears, wolves, and American bisons rub shoulders with gibbons, tapirs, red pandas, kangaroos, and white tigers.

Masters of the Savannah

Safari lovers should embark on the Parcours Rouge across an African plateau. Masters of the savannah and the African plains can be seen, both on the ground and in the air.

Rare birds fly above the lions, white rhinoceros, and giraffes. A grand and exotic universe to discover, either from covered spaces or by foot.

The long pedestrian paths are only part of the attractions at the Cerza Park Zoo, one of the most beautiful in Europe. The tropical space invites visitors to discover the history of vertebrate evolution in a 30-minute, 600 square meter experience.

Safari Train

Le Safari Train is a fun alternative for those who prefer to discover the zoo from the comfort of their own seat in this 25 minute journey.

Mini Farm

After disembarking from the train, prepare yourself for a tour of a mini farm! A great chance to enjoy the calmer parts of the zoo, where children can feed and pet goats, chickens, turkeys, and micro pigs.

3D Film

Finally, it's time to head to the theater! A 3D movie invites visitors on an extraordinary journey across the continents.

Protection of Threatened Spaces

Helping visitors discover the animal kingdom and the park's many species is only one of the zoo's goals. It also aims to promote repopulation of threatened species at risk of extinction.

Located near the city of Lisieux in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, the zoo is open to the public from February 1 to November 30. During this period, visitors can also stay for the weekend in a magnificent chalet lodge!
