The Loire Wine Producers
United by a river that is said to be royal, the Loire wine region stretches from Sancerre to the Atlantic. In Angers and Nantes, the wine producers invite you to discover their AOCs, their terroirs, the tourist route, their cellars, etc. and of course to taste a selection of wines. The Centre-Loire region has some great Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée regions with, from east to west, its Sancerre, Orléanais, Touraine, Saumur and Anjou and Pays Nantais wines. The tourist route takes enthusiasts from cellars to vineyards, visiting prestigious châteaux, abbeys, caves and gardens that run alongside the Loire along the way.
