The organiser of this competition and responsible for it is Atout France, the French National Tourist Office in Austria & Central Europe, operator of the Facebook page "RO.ExploreFrance" hereinafter also referred to as the "campaign manager".

Participation in this competition is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. An internet connection and a Facebook account are required to participate in the competition.


The competition starts on Tuesday, 04.04.2023, at 12:00 and ends on Sunday, 23.04.2023, at 23:59. Later entries are unfortunately not possible and will not be taken into account. Only those participants who have fulfilled the conditions for participation during the respective period will be considered for the determination of the winners.


Eligibility is open to permanent residents of Romania who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees of Atout France, the participating partners and all persons involved in the implementation of the competition as well as their representatives and relatives are unfortunately not allowed to participate.

Each person may only enter the competition once with a Facebook account. Participants who use multiple Facebook accounts to increase their chances of winning, who technically manipulate the game or the course of the game or otherwise violate these conditions of participation will be excluded from the competition. In the event of exclusion from the competition, prizes may also be subsequently forfeited and reclaimed. The participation of competition agencies and other automatically generated mass mailings is expressly excluded and will not be taken into account in determining the winners.

How to enter?

To enter the competition, the participant must be a fan of France.fr (@RO.ExploreFrance), like the post by France.fr (@RO.ExploreFrance) dated 04.04.2023 (12:00) and write in the comments field below the post who he/she would most like to travel to France with.

Organisation of the competition

This competition is not associated with Facebook and is in no way endorsed, sponsored or organised by Facebook. The recipient of the information provided by the participants is Atout France and not Facebook.
The information provided will be used to contact the winner and to deliver and manage the prize. In addition, the Campaign Manager is permitted to contact participants via Facebook Direct Message for the purposes of administering the prize draw. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this competition should be directed exclusively to the campaign manager.

The prizes:

-) 1 holiday in Lille for 2 consisting of a 3-night-stay at the Hotel Moxy for 2 people including breakfast, flight tickets for 2 travellers from Romania to Paris (including 1 piece of luggage per person) and back as well as train tickets from Paris to Lille and back for 2 travellers. In addition, the winner will receive a city pass for Lille for 2 people valid through 72 hours.
The winners of the holiday in Lille must travel during the following periods: June 2023 (excluding June 13th-15th and June 27th-29th), July 2023 and August 2023 (excluding August 27th-31st).
-) 1 holiday in Bordeaux for 2 consisting of a 2-night-stay at the Hotel Seeko’o for 2 people including breakfast, flight tickets for 2 travellers from Romania to Bordeaux (including 1 piece of luggage per person) and back or, depending on flight connections, flights from Romania to Paris and back and train tickets for 2 travellers from Paris to Bordeaux and back. In addition, the winner will receive a city pass for Bordeaux for 2 people valid through 48 hours.
The winners of the holiday in Bordeaux must travel until 31/12/2023 (return flight) at the latest, exact travel dates subject to availability.

Cash payment of the prize is not possible. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable. The legal process is excluded. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize. If the prize cannot be made available for reasons beyond Atout France's control, the Campaign Manager reserves the right to provide a substitute of equal value. Atout France accepts no liability for defects. All operating, ancillary and consequential costs associated with the prize (for example further meals at the destination, further activities or shopping expenses) shall be borne by the winner.


The prizes will be drawn from among all participants who have fulfilled all the conditions required for participation in the competition during the relevant period. The winners will be selected from the participants by drawing lots in the days following the competition.
The winners will be notified by Facebook direct message within seven (7) days of the draw. If the prize is not accepted within four (4) days after notification of the prize - a short written feedback via Facebook is sufficient for this - Atout France reserves the right to make the prize available to other participants.
The organisation of the trips (booking of flights, hotel accommodation, etc.) will then be carried out directly by Atout France in consultation with the winners.

Liability and warranty

The decisions of Atout France are final. Requests in this regard cannot be answered. Atout France reserves the right to suspend the Contest, in whole or temporarily, if any difficulties arise that jeopardise the integrity of the Contest. Any liability for damages on the part of Atout France and its organs, employees and vicarious agents in connection with the competition, irrespective of the legal grounds, is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to cases of intent or gross negligence.

By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to the contents of these conditions of participation.

Data protection

Insofar as personal data of participants is collected, processed and used within the framework of the competition, this data will be collected, processed and used by Atout France exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition.

Final provisions

The laws of the Federal Republic of Austria are exclusively applicable. These conditions of participation, including the competition mechanics, constitute the final regulations for the competition. Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation. Atout France reserves the right to amend the conditions of participation if necessary.
The legal process is excluded.
