A real rock festival you can get to by metro. Rendez-vous from August 24th to 26th 2018 for this Parisian event that has become a must since its creation in 2003.
For fifteen years, Rock en Seine illuminates the return of the Parisians: late August, when the summer holidays are over, the festival represents a good reason to return to Paris. For visitors, it is also the perfect opportunity to extend their stay!
The Rock en Seine festival has six stages in the heart of the Parc de Saint-Cloud, five minutes from the Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud metro station. This site, designed by Le Nôtre in the 17th century (the architect of the grounds at Versailles), is the first garden to be listed as a historic monument in 1994. But during the festival, the atmosphere is rather more casual than courtly.
A program that stands out
As every year, the 2018 program stands out from the other festivals of the summer: Rock en Seine welcomes the South African group Die Antwoord (August 24), and les français de Justice (August 26) and the rappers of PNL (August 24). On the rock side, Liam Gallagher and Thirty Seconds to Mars (August 25) will be performing. Charlotte Gainsbourg will also sing on August 25, and the program will end with a smooth set from English DJ Bonobo on August 26.
Here, no need for camping: you can reach Paris in a few metro stations. Convenience never seemed so rock and roll!
