Visit the Beaches of Six-Fours / La Seyne / Ollioules

A charming Provencal resort

Six Fours-les-Plages shows you what living is like in the south between the forest and the sea. There are 18kms of coastline cut up into sandy beaches, secret inlets, little harbours and protected forests.

  • NOT TO BE MISSED

You will be won over by the variety of things to see: in the Janas Forest there are 3,000 hectares of Mediterranean trees such as pines, cork oaks, olive trees and broom. Many trails have been set up for mountain biking, horseback riding and biking. You can also head to the island of Embiez, a centre for salt-water therapy, scuba diving, and entertainment in general.

Six Fours is also a sports resort

Here there are regattas, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, kayaking, sailing schools, water skiing, rowing (crew), swimming pools, tennis courts, archery, mountain biking, horseback riding and more. The Provence of traditions and crafts can be seen in the local festivals and markets. Entertainment of all kinds is offered: jazz, theatre, movies, exhibitions, and summer festivals.

  • HIGHLIGHTS

Religious monuments: A large number of religious buildings are on display in this small town: the pre-roman area Chapel Notre-Dame de Pépiole built on a Syrian architectural model, Saint-Pierre chapel set on a hill, and the Notre-Dame du Mai chapel with an impressive sea view of the coast. Inside, many of these monuments have exceptional pilgrimage objects on display.
