Corsica: The Mountain in the Sea

The highest peak is Monte Cinto (2 710 m). Its astonishing scenery, its almost unreal colors, the smells of the scrub, its non-stop sunshine and its preserved traditions are what make it a popular destination.

A land of contrasts

Hiking is the main activity, and a wide choice of hikes and walks will allow you to explore this land of contrasts.
Follow the mythical GR 20, a hiking trail that crosses Corsica (External link) and its different mountain ranges. Visit the Corsica Regional Nature Park, a nature reserve created in 1972, which today covers more than a third of the island, with an area of 350,510 hectares. Its flora and fauna include some threatened species.
A “must” for all nature lovers.
