Since July 2015, the Avenue de Champagne has constituted one of the key elements in the "Hillsides, Houses, and Wine Cellars of Champagne," listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Epernay, a City with Turbulent History

Historically, Epernay has been burned, pillaged, and partially destroyed more than 25 times over the course of its life. However, even if the city only preserves a little of its past, it is still home to some of the most beautiful hôtels particuliers of the eighteenth century.
