Established in 1964, Sofitel is the first international luxury hotel brand to originate from France with over 120 chic and remarkable hotels in the world’s most sought after destinations. Sofitel exudes a refined and understated sense of modern luxury, always blending a touch of French decadence with the very best of the locale.
In Australia there are six exceptional Sofitel addresses including Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, Sofitel Brisbane Central, Sofitel Gold Coast Broad Beach, Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort and Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.

With an emphasis on Modern French Art de Vivre guests can enjoy exceptional French gastronomic delights such as Le Gouter, a French take on the traditional afternoon tea as well as specialty menus such as the recently launched new menu at Atelier by Sofitel Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour which has been inspired by the flavours of Provence and the city of Marseille.

Introduced by Executive Chef Eric Costille guests at Atelier by Sofitel can enjoy signature dishes such as the iconic Bouillabaisse, culinary marine delights such as Red Snapper, Barramundi with Aioli and Prawn Provencale and classic French dishes such as Pate en Croute.

At Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, native French Executive Chef Boris Cuzon adds a touch of Brittany to this iconic CBD hotel. Boris has built strong relationships with the Sydney French community setting the French direction for many of the gastronomic events at the hotel. Some of the signature dishes he has created over the years include Boeuf Wellington a notre Facon, Sauce aux Truffles and Feuillaintine Pralinee. Chef Boris also mobilized the pastry department to design the hotel’s popular high tea offerings including the renowned art inspired Archibald High Tea in partnership with the Art Gallery of NSW and the Beauty and the Beast High Tea in partnership with Walt Disney.
