Celebrating 150 years of Impressionism!

Sunbeams, water splashes, green countryside, the incredible palette of lights and colors of Normandy and the Seine Valley inspired the first impressionist painters. 150 years after the founding exhibition of the pictorial movement organized in Paris in 1874, unprecedented exhibitions are planned in 2024 in about thirty French museums thanks to 180 exceptional loans from the Orsay museum. From Provence to Hauts-de-France via Alsace and the island of La Réunion, visitors rediscover iconic or confidential works while taking the time to admire the natural, urban or maritime landscapes depicted by Monet, Degas, Pissarro, Morisot or Cézanne.
