Set out for a wonderful journey on the wine trail, discover this exciting world and savour the elegance … Burgundy, with its sumptuous terroirs and the many pleasures that go with them!

An inimitable style, very different personalities… The Burgundy wines come from unique areas called “Climates”. A mosaic of 365 small parcels of land, precisely demarcated and worked with meticulousness for centuries. A tradition which has given rise to prestigious wines.

Vougeot, Romanée, Echézeaux, Montrachet, Volnay, Auxey-Duresses, Pouilly-Fuissé, Chablis and Maconnais. There are 100 famous appellations: regional, village (town where the wine is produced), 1er cru (parcel it comes from) and grands crus (produced on the best plots of a town).

Traditional varieties have built the reputation of the wines of Burgundy: a divine palette of intense and classy reds with pinot noir, the exceptional nobility and balance of great whites with chardonnay. More modest, the aligoté gives crisp, dry whites and is used in the composition of crémant.

Intense crimson colors, hints of spices and the woods, powerful and velvety bodies… The great red wines come to life with grilled meats, game, and dishes cooked in wine. The chiselled and complex elegance of the great whites excels alongside noble fish and poultry in cream sauce.
