To make the most of your stay in France, it's best if you understand the language: most classes are taught in French. To perfect your knowledge of the language of Molière, the CNOUS provides a list of all the schemes for learning French that exist in France and abroad.

In your home country, you can also contact the French Alliance or your university's French language department. Once you are in France, you can contact the Centres for French as a Foreign Language to take a course. And wherever you are, you can access online resources, such as those offered by TV5 Monde to start learning French, for example.
