With over 10.5 million visitors, 400 trade shows a year and 100 000 businesses exhibiting every year, Paris and Île-de-France is the top region in the world for business events and gatherings, and the top spot in Europe for fairs and trade shows. In order to meet a major demand in the area of business tourism, the Paris Île-de-France Regional Tourism Committee offers trade show visitors a "Welcome pack". It includes benefits such as free services put in place as soon as you arrive at the Paris Airports, a trade show calendar and a selection of events and cultural exhibitions taking place during your stay.
