France.fr, officially launched in 2010, is the multilingual web site of reference about France intended for the international general public. It provides information and promotes France by offering Internet users an immersive editorial experience through three major categories of content: 

• Tourism

The content highlights the profusion of possibilities for entertainment, getaways, gastronomy, and leisure sports, putting them in the context of the various regions...

• Culture

The content highlights the constant connection between heritage and contemporary works in order to illustrate the privileged relationship that France maintains with the arts and artists.

• Economic dynamism

The content highlights the know-how, projects and innovations that make France a country on the cutting edge: aerospace, automobile, luxury goods industries, telecommunications, transports, agro-food, and energy.

Internet users are invited to share their photos of France by contributing to the slide show “Ma France” which can be consulted at the following address: http://www.france.fr/en/paris-and-its-surroundings/diaporama/ma-france. The most beautiful photos will be selected and put on line every week.

In order to satisfy its audiences, France.fr is now presented in six languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
